by the way what an ass for not giving you valium !!! I think I read that in your blog but your FL doctors  website looks cool !!! my husband only lets me fix what I cant do in the gym I asked for a bit of lipo on my ass

Lucky for you, you have a husband who is supportive and understands.

My husband thinks my obsessions are extreme. He is by now means Mr. GQ. :))  

Dr. Beck has a good reputation. I am not familiar with the other docs you mentioned. The only Rhino specialist I know is Dr. David Kim @ 490 Post in SF.

 

Th FL experience was lots more than I anticipated. Being in this business, I was surprised at how long the recovery really is. There is a lot that the docs do not tell you, which i believe they should.

yea im gonna check the FL out I always am downto learn what I can about these subjects I was considering taking an estetician class at the marinello school of beauty but thats 10,000 buck a roos!!

the same cost as my breast lift my husband said pick tits or school ARGH!!!!

I naturally picked TITS!!!LMAO!!

were on a budget but i will beg borrow and steal for my beauty work !!

Your too funny... I wish I had a tummy tuck and lifted those "ladies" after my kids. That was over 25 years ago. Mommy makeovers were in not in style or if they were no one spoke about it.  I had 2 C-sections and now have zero stomach muscles.   I told my hubby I want to lift those ladies for my 60th B-day.  I just had a FL 6 months ago.. my blog is www.beautirx.com you can read all about it. I have not finished the story yet. The final verdict is not in yet, as to how I feel about my neck.

 

Healing takes time as you already know.  I remember my rhino over 18 years ago. And I had to have a re-do because he did not get everything the first time. Now I am losing cartilage on one side that may have to be fixed eventually.   Ahhh.. what we women do to stay beautiful.. Lot of work.. LOL

yea i was taking the arnica montana pills pre and post for a week and when the cast came off I started using the arnica gel on my nose

when the cast came off it was so perfect then a couple days later it started swelling again ARGH !!! I freaked thought I was moving too much

my surgeon told me that it is normal for swelling to go up and down

and most should subside 1-3 months post op and then start seeing the changes later up to a year

Damn I want instant gratification !!! LOL!!

I have a follow up apointment next week

I will look into the GliSodin

I am in San mateo Ca just 15-20 min south of San Francisco in the penninsula

Im getting the ladies lifted next either in march or september

Time for my 10,000 mile make over and suspension job

I had a tummy tuck 10 years ago and thats what got me hooked on plastic surgery  now gotta finish the mommy makeover with the ladies

I tottally believe in ecercise and water healthy eating but some things you cant fix in the gym

Besides isnt that why god created plastic surgeons and dermatologists !!!

Retin A is a miracle cream. It builds collagen and ellastin and  helps the cells to heal. Using the cream now after your surgery should be fine. If you are concerned about using it on your nose, I would check with your surgeon first. But the rest of your face should be fine. Again, I am not an MD.  

The swelling will go down. For swelling I would recommend GliSodin pre/post. You can buy it online. Let me know where you live and I can find out if any spas or PS offices carry it. I love this product. www.glisodinskin.com

I use the skin brightener and the pre/post before any injections, fillers or surgery.

It has been developed specifically to aid in healing after surgery. Arnica also is good.

hi michele i just had a rhino plasty a couple weeks a go and still a bit swollen from it

I want to know when it is safe to do a Retin A regime again Ive done it in the past for acne and hyperpigmentation and it was like magic not only did it address my acne but smoothed everything like baby skin

I still feel the effect even though Ive only used it for 8 months 2 years ago

I just dont want to interfere with my rhinoplasty healing ..
