Creating with Your Eyes Closed

"Spiritual Connection to Your Creative Muse" is a fun and entertaining exercise that helps connect you with your higher self, receiving bits and pieces of information to help you along your life journey.  On December 1 and December 8, 2010, we broadcast live radio shows with overviews of the process (archives/podcasts HERE).   I started the process as a reward, to myself, for completing three pages of journaling. That was over ten years ago. Now, the process, which starts with drawing lines and circles with my eyes closed, is part of my life. The messages I receive, while looking for the image and coloring the image, have helped me tremendously. My hope is to share the process in a fun and entertaining way, while inviting you to share your results with the others in this group.

Our art gallery, Art & Artifacts, is so thrilled to have been asked to participate in the Fall 2011 International Furniture Market - High Point, NC.  The showroom designer selected over 25 pieces of art from our gallery to place with the Harden Furniture introductions.

Hi Judi- Kay told me about your work and they are stunning! you do this with your eyes closed?  I teach creitivity workshops where I have people write and draw with their non-dominant hand, but this is amazing. I also started to draw again after years off and am having the best time. Just wanted to let you that your artwork is fabulous. elizabeth

I submitted the posted paintings for a show called "Cultural Crossroads".  I'll find out September 2nd or 3rd if any of them were selected to be in the show.  They are named:

Music - A Bridge Between Cultures

Two=Two Cultures

Religion - Teaches Love but Often used for Hate

News - Brings Together or Tears Apart

I love these paintings, Judi. As gorgeous as these photos are, the original paintings must be breathtaking. Congratulations on your workshops.
