Ok, I understand there is some sort of biological drive for this....but I still feel the need to talk about it.....
I'm 30yrs old, and was seeing this guy who is 38yrs...love interest turned 'buddy.' So we're simply good friends these days...and tonight he told me about a new girl he is dating....I asked him not to tell me the exact age but I know the age range to be 19-23.
-How can a guy that appreciated me, in all my glorious growth and maturity and life experience 30yrs has brought ...be equally or more so fascinated with a girl who's fresh from high school?
He's an interesting professional guy, why isn't he looking for an interesting woman closer to his age? What's the fascination with girls?
-Are you having to choke down the 'ik' factor?
Obviously not an isolated event....2 other casual guy friends freshly 40 are dating girls in their early 20s...I really don't get it!
-At the time I was too shocked to think clearly and pick his brain...but maybe someone out there can help me understand?
