Martini Meeting LIVE on Feb. 23

If you miss the Martini Meeting Radio Show with Gina Trimarco and Eileen Soisson, come join us in our Martini Meeting LIVE networking on Feb. 23 at Pomodoro's Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, from 4:00 to whenever. This monthly event is getting big. Please let us know if you're coming so we can prepare the restaurant. They have free appetizers from 4 - 6 and martinis for $4.50! How can you beat that?

This is a laid back, casual function where women (and some men) in business can share ideas on how to improve their businesses, while sharing some war stories and drinking martinis. You can drop in and join the event when it's convenient for you between 4:00 and 7:00 (and we will probably be there later, but that's the best time to meet others).

At the Martini Meetings, drinks flow and ideas grow ... and oh yeah, you'll meet some cool new people. This is not your typical networking event where people clump together in cliques. This is an event where people really do want to get to know you for you and not just shove business cards in your face.

For more information about "The Martini Meeting", visit our fan page on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/The-Martini-Meeting/130821626928369

We are no longer on the radio for now, but may return to radio elsewhere later.

Stay tuned for monthly in-person Martini Meetings for women who want to get together, talk business, drink martinis and have fun!

Thought you might enjoy my latest reflection. . . Lessons from my Garden (on growing a conscious business)

Thanks to Jeff Small, our guest on yesterday's show and Radha Herring, my co-host while Gina was away. We learned a lot about Google (apps, calendar, reader, voice, etc.) and other tech stuff we can apply to our businesses! Hope to have Jeff on again!

I'm hoping I'll be able to make one of those calls. My client load is a little full on Thursdays but I'm optimistic!

Sue- Welcome to the group and look forward to learning more from you when you call in and join our chats on Thursdays! I have many friends who were teachers and now do something else for various reasons (one you mentioned- freedom). There are many women that can relate to (and some that aspire to) your story and would want to hear about it- myself included!!

I entered the world of solo entrepreneurs and launched my business (Conscious Bites Nutrition) after 30 years in a nice, safe, secure teaching job. I LOVE my new career and the freedom that comes with being my own boss. I'm looking forward to the next Martini Meeting radio show. . .

Hi everyone. I hope you're having a great 4th weekend. I'm looking forward to sharing small biz ideas with you all.

Dariel, the Martini Meeting gals (Gina & Eileen) are masters at marketing. And Ellen Toay of this group owns Baby Boomer Networking, so I feel sure you'll get good feedback from them. They're graduate students in marketing; I'm still in kindergarten. Carolyn Murray, Editor of The Sun News, is confirmed for The Martini Meeting radio show July 29 – she’ll talk about how to get PR in the newspaper.

Jennifer- Loving what you do is the real secret to success! Best of luck with the business and hope to see you online for next week's Martini Meeting!
