When & Why Did We Start Using Age As a Negative?

Posted on August 20, 2011 at 6:05pm 0 Comments

Here are the One Liner posts I've recently posted on my blog site; I decided to work on this message one thought at a time over a couple of months and then go back to my usual blog. My goal is to see all of you living your own natural path that leads you to & keeps you at vitality  and youth and joy. I wonder where the the "age thing" started. Think about it! I think you understand what I'm getting at. I think it's good to take some time with this. We take "age remarks" for granted -…

“Am I Good Enough?”

Posted on April 11, 2011 at 6:27pm 1 Comment

I took a two mile walk around midtown to do items on my to do list on March 18th, a glorious record-breaking 74 degree day in NYC. The streets were packed with people. I just found a note I wrote to myself about that walk and I’d like to share it with you.

I tuned in to how many people were speaking loudly to business associates or cohorts on their cell phones, as though they wanted everyone on the street to hear what they were saying.  What really caught my ear…

Thinking Of My Body As My Prized Vehicle Helps Me Stay In Shape

Posted on April 11, 2011 at 6:25pm 1 Comment

If you’ve been reading my blog you know that a little over three months ago I took an unplanned tumble. Since then I’ve tangibly seen the value of viewing my body as “something I have” rather than “who I am.”  I’ve contemplated this question before, but the accident brought it to the fore. Whatever your spiritual view of this topic may be, I’m now finding that thinking of…

I Finally “Got” What They Mean When They Say, “Commitment Needs Detachment.” Another “Who Wudda Thunk!

Posted on February 25, 2011 at 6:31pm 0 Comments

I’d heard people say one needs to detach from worldly outcomes.   I didn’t  get what “detachment” truly meant  before! I now realize that my book “Find Your min-Qs(?)* Reveal the Slim, Strong, Sexy Star You Truly Are! at Age 50, 60, 70, and Beyond” has an additional purpose! If I can help people detach from the outcome yet commit to their day to day choices that will bring about the outcome – I’ll have…

Good point about cleansers and cleanses. Speaking of putting good things inside one's body, did you happen to catch this photo I uploaded Saturday? Jeff made that for me (us) for breakfast. Eggs & avocadoes with feta, onion, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, cumin in tortilla wraps. Wow. And he did it on the fly! He's such a good cook. I'm so spoiled.

Dear Donna,
Thank you for having a faith based group. It is the essence of everything and people often get involved with their daily chores and become frightened that there won't be enough for them. I was one of them - and I'd already found a spiritual home. We always can use a reminder. "Getting and spending we lay waste our powers".
