- Married 30 years this September. Both daughters are college graduates and involved in the education field. I'm currently not working, but actively seeking employment - ultimately I'd love to be doing something FUN where I could learn something new each and every day! I had been a successful Escrow Officer for 30+ years and with that career, was able to learn so much.. Unfortunately the real estate market was/is in decline, so my job ended. On a good note, I am a Border Collie foster mom, which has been a wonderful way to stay connected with people as well as work with this particular breed. My health and life is good!

Kay Van Hoesen said… Welcome, Deb! I enjoyed reading about you. Border Collie's are brilliant dogs. I fostered a JRT whom I had to adopt. She's my little girl now. Yep, the real estate market is upside down, but you're right, we are not defined by what we do. I love your positive energy!
