Do I really Believe In God?
This was my first thought as I became conscious today, it’s really been on my mind for the past two weeks. It was back then that someone for whom I had been praying and encouraging to put her trust in God spoke to me on the phone about a crisis that erupted in her life. I sat there listening to her in awe with tears of joy and gratitude streaming down my face but in amazement.

It is repeatedly said that we should not "sweat the small stuff”, I've been giving much thought to that statement in my meditation and something seems a bit off with it.
In the context of a man's (or woman's) character it is the small stuff that really matters and that is the sign of their integrity.

Today our Country celebrates Emancipation Day in remembrance of our Freedom from Slavery. As I meditated upon what it means to be free, I'm concluding that Freedom is a state of mind. This because of my own life experiences, I can vividly remember times when FEAR (false evidence appearing real) kept me bound to people, places and circumstances that were not healthy for me and restricting me from becoming all that I have the potential to become.
