The Power of Addiction…………Just One Look!

Ted Bundy, sex serial killer, in his final interview with Dr Dobson said, "Those of us who are so much influenced by violence in the media, in particular pornographic violence, are not some kind of inherent monsters. We are your sons, and we are your husbands, and we grew up in regular families." The example of Ted Bundy tells how just one look cost him his life and the lives of many of his victims:“My experience with pornography … is once you become addicted to it, (and I look at this as a…See More

Kate as a Writer
Kate is author of:

Woman at the Well.
A personal journey Kate endured, growing up in a chaotic, alcoholic and sexually abusive home. Kate candidly shares how she weaved in and out of abusive relationships and co-dependent behaviours as a young adult, until she finally broke free from the chains that bound her and drew her to unconsciously choose pain and destructive relationships.

The Bogey Man.
Real stories of how sexual predators entered into other’s lives, destroying those who needed them most.

Bert the Butterfly.
A colouring in book to be used as a tool to help parents teach their child how to recognise unhealthy behaviours in others and skills to self-protect against coercion of unhealthy adults and peers.

Webs of Deceit.
A book that gives a parent or caregiver insight into the mind of a sexual predator and how they view your child. Webs of Deceit is about the supply and demand of our children as a source to meet the needs of adults, both sexually and financially.

Kate as a Speaker
Kate has spoken to many groups and organisations, with notable members of the community in Canberra, Sydney, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Minnesota USA. She also develops and speaks at her own workshops and seminars.

Kate as an Advocate
Kate’s advocacy for protecting children includes helping to establish CRTEC (Centre to Restore Trafficked and Exploited Children) in Iowa, USA as Executive Director, developing the CERRP, designing the home to receive trafficked children, training volunteers, public speaking, designing the literature and advertisements, developing and creating the certificate training manual Identification of Trafficked Children (within U.S. Borders) aka the nationwide “TIP-ID Program.”

Kate as a Founding Director
Kate is the founder of Breakthrough Options and has developed training workshops to help families, groups, organisations and churches to recognise predatory behaviours in those we trust with our children, how best to protect our child/ren from “grooming” of sex predators and understanding human trafficking of children for the sex industry. She developed Breakthrough Options from the ground up and is now experiencing a measure of success for the seeds sown.
And at the end of the day she likes to sit behind her drum kit and beat out thunderous sounds with precision and passion.

Please remember those in the flood in Brisbane . I have a son and daughter-in-law trapped downtown and the banks are due to break and they are set for the worst to hit on Thursday, and need to stay in their apartment. I am a worried Mum right now.

Lets arm them with skills at the "top of the cliff" before they need rescuing! Free 20 page colouring book

Kate, I was so sorry to learn of your RA diagnosis.  It didn't dawn on me that you won't be able to still play drums. How awful.
