Justice Thursday on Here Women Talk Radio

11am-12pm EST (8-9am PT) BROADSIDED with Hosts Vicki Childs and Carol Baker~(LIVE) What do you think of when you hear of a movie called “The Debutante Hunters“? Possibly a documentary about someone on a quest to find debutantes? Not exactly…Producer/Director, Maria White, in her Sundance Film Festival winning documentary, (she won the Audience Award) tells the story of five true "Southern Belles” who shed their "pumps 'n pearls" and trade them in for hunting boots in this tale about women who enjoy the thrill of hunting wild game. Maria, along with three of the stars, will join our resident hunters Carol and Vicki, and show us why it's really a story about family roots and a love of nature more than anything else. Of course, this week’s show cannot pass without some commentary regarding the current war on women’s reproductive rights. Jessica Arons is the Director of the Women’s Health and Rights Program at American Progress and a member of the Faith and Progressive Policy Initiative, and she will be giving her take on mandatory trans-vaginal probes prior to receiving an abortion and other birth control legislation being introduced around the country. Chat-in or call-in your questions or comments 877-500-9387. (Read More)
